Porn star Sunny Leone has expressed her desire to work with hunk Salman Khan but Sallu confesses that he has not yet seen any of her films but aware of her popularity on websites. "While I haven't seen her work or movies before, I have heard her website has a lot of hits," he said.

When Sunny entered Bigg Boss house, she received a mixed response from the inmates but Sallu has a different take on the issue. 'Dabangg' Khan said there shouldn't be any objection to her profession. VJ Pooja Missra feels she has been misunderstood and feels victimised after she was thrown out of "Big Boss 5" because of her "aggressive nature".  "I am not an aggressive or violent girl but I was forced to be like that. I had to face many harsh things when I entered the house. Some participants used to say bad things about me, they used to bang the washroom doors in front of my face.  Some used to shout at me without any reason. Nargis Fakhri minds her language

The Pakistani-Czech actor says she learnt Hindi for three months and cried every night because she was finding it difficult to get rid of her American accent While Nargis Fakhri has been praised for her looks, she has come under some intense criticism for her Hindi. What many perhaps don't know is that the voice in Rockstar isn't even hers.  Fakhri, we hear, is going all out to rectify the handicap.  Says the actor, "I dubbed for 10 scenes, but after that, I don't know why I wasn't allowed to. I never really asked. Maybe it was felt that I still had a bit of an American accent. Let me tell you, I really wanted to dub my own lines."  The New York resident born to a Pakistani father and a Czech mother has moved to Mumbai and plans to work hard on her Hindi. "I want to speak Hindi with my friends but everyone speaks English. When I try Urdu with them they don't know what I am saying, " she said. Fakhri said she can't be faulted for not trying. "I worked nearly 10 hours a day on my Hindi, for three months. I tried so hard to master the language that I'd cry every night wondering how much harder I had to try. I have an aptitude for languages and I know I can do it.  But then, I went away to America for four months and lost all connection with Hindi again. My American accent has come back." Meanwhile, the actor is basking in the success of her debut film. "There has been some criticism too. But I never take criticism badly. I don't consider it a negative thing. If someone feels the colour of my eyes needs to change, I can't do anything about it, but if someone feels my acting needs to improve, I can certainly work on that." Fakhri said she didn't take acting classes to prepare for her role in Rockstar. "I remember wondering how I'd be an actress if I never took acting classes. Then I thought, I've travelled so extensively and experienced so many cultures. I think I've imbibed a lot of character."  "Would you believe, I didn't know who Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir Kapoor were? Mahesh Bhatt to sign up Sunny Leone for 'Jism 2' on Bigg Boss

Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt enters the "Bigg Boss 5" house Monday and says he has decided to offer porn star Sunny Leone, who is also participating in the reality show, the lead role in his movie "Jism 2".  "I am not casting her for her body, but I see that loneliness and heartbroken soul that is behind that smile.  The entertainment business itself is not a cakewalk, so the porn business would have been a really tough ride for her," Bhatt told on phone from Mumbai. "I love casting people who are real. People who have gone through highs and lows to reach a stature where people look up to them for their hard work.  Sunny is being shown in a bright light with an exotic image on television, but I sensed that she must have gone through a lot to earn a name in an industry which people don't appreciate," added the 61-year-old.  "Jism" released in 2003 was an unexpected box office success and made debutants John Abraham and Bipasha Basu known names in the film industry. Born to a Punjabi family in Ontario, Sunny has appeared in various reality shows in the US, and was named among the world's top 12 porn stars by fashion magazine Maxim in 2010. Bhatt feels Sunny has an emotional 'edge' which could work wonders for "Jism 2". "'Jism 2' narrates the story of a woman who transcends from the 'body' to the 'soul'. I wanted to approach an actress who not only has the physical attributes but also the emotional 'edge' to carry off the complexity of the role. "I see Sunny as a perfect fit for the film and the script. Had approached Bipasha Basu and Mallika Sherawat for the role earlier, but things didn't work out," he added. What made Bhatt choose Colors reality show "Bigg Boss 5" as a platform to announce the film. "Announcing a film is as important as any other aspect of filmmaking, whether it be releasing it or promoting it. 'Bigg Boss' is a great platform to reach a wide audience. And we thought it was the right time to approach her," he said.

Watch out for lustful Freida in steamy 'Trishna'

Her steamy next is being translated into eight Indian languages, apparently without the actress' knowledge but she doesn't mind  Buzz is that without her knowledge, Freida Pinto's next film that is supposed to be the steamiest adaptation of Thomas Hardy's novel Tess of the d'Urbervilles is being translated into eight Indian languages.  The film that will release early next year is said to portray her in her most challenging role ever. Based on Hardy's timeless tragic heroine Tess, the film Trishna is being made by British auteur director Michael Winterbottom.  The film's co-producer Sunil Bohra admits that Freida is absolutely unaware of the latest development. He says, "I am dubbing Trishna in eight Indian languages...Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Punjabi and Kannada.  I'm the co-producer and distributor of the film and I've every right. I am not commenting on the sex content (in the film). Let people speculate on it."  Shot in Rajasthan, the new adaptation has Freida playing a local girl in a lustful lingering liaison. Her co-star Riz Ahmed (who is currently shooting Mira Nair's The Reluctant Fundamentalist in Delhi) plays a British NRI who comes to Jodhpur to revive his father's business. Freida, however, plays it cool. She says, "Wow! It feels great to be dubbed in so many languages. I would have loved to dub them all. I did learn the basics of Marwari and that was a good adventure." She adds, "I've always wanted to be a part of cinema that reaches a wider audience." For his role of the cricketer in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine, Randeep has not only decided to model his character on the ace-batsman, he has also resolved to take close guidance and tips from Virender Sehwag to play his character convincingly.  Ever since he signed the role two weeks ago Randeep has been on the phone constantly with Sehwag picking the cricketer's brain to understand how a batsman's mind heart and body work in unison.  On Thursday Randeep and his acting mentor Naseeruddin Shah trooped down to the Wankhede Stadium to watch Sehwag play in the India-West-Indies test match.  After the match Randeep spent invaluable time studying his cricketing idol.  Says Randeep, "It was an awesome moment, my acting mentor Naseer besides me and my cricket idol on the field…I've always felt a deep affinity to Virender Sehwag. We're both Jats from Haryana. And we're both self-made, I in my own humble way, he of course on a much larger scale. Just watching him on the field is so inspiring. Virender is not just a great batsman he's an entertainer on the field. I firmly believer whether you're an actor or cricketer you've to entertain people in your field. I think Virender does that very well. " Randeep not only admits Sehwag would be the role model for his performance he would also be using Virender's bat!!  "That's right!" admits Randeep. "I've asked Virender to give me one of his bats which I'd be using in Heroine. He has kindly agreed to do. I've to tell you. I'm very excited about this role because like every Indian boy I played cricket in school and college. Then when Sehwag became national champ Haryana's chest swelled with pride.  Now by playing a cricketer I feel I am fulfilling a dream that Sehwag has already fulfilled for us. "

Salman, SRK's neighbourhood to house Bollywood 'Walk of Fame'

It's been a jogger's delight, a hangout spot and a lover's point for years. Now the picturesque Bandra Bandstand in entertainment capital Mumbai will turn into the Bollywood Walk of Fame.  Sure enough, the street will be adorned with the hand imprints of popular living legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan - a la Hollywood. Housing the flats and bungalows of actors like Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Shabana Azmi and Rekha, the area attracts a lot of tourists and local people. With the addition of celebrity tiles at Bandstand Promenade - an idea conceptualised by UTV Stars, the "official channel of Bollywood" - the number of visitors is only expected to increase. Taking a leaf out of Los Angeles' Hollywood Walk of Fame at the world-famous Hollywood Boulevard, officials at the channel were earlier in talks for a Hall of Fame, but ultimately zeroed in on a 'Walk'. "We have been working on this project for six months. Since we consider ourselves the official Bollywood channel, we wanted to do something for the actors who have contributed so much to the industry over the years," Nikhil Gandhi, business head at UTV Stars, told over phone from Mumbai.  "So we zeroed in on this Bollywood Walk of Fame in Bandra Bandstand, where the name and handprints of actors will be placed tile by tile." The Hollywood Walk of Fame stretches over two kilometres and has brass stars and the names of showbiz stars engraved in tiles. A specific area also has hand and foot imprints of actors, musicians and technicians in clay tiles.  But the desi street will be "different".  "We wanted it to be different. We won't do stars, we will have brass imprints for our stars, who will be required to give their hand imprints in a clay cast, which will be processed in brass. And when it is ready to be placed on the street, we shall invite the star over to place it at the right place," said Gandhi. The channel hopes to get as many as 60 tiles placed within the first year of its launch, scheduled for early January 2012.  With this, the Bandra Bandstand is expected to wear a new look! "We had other options, but the Bandra Bandstand is a central location and looks wonderful with the sea by the side," he said.  "We haven't earmarked the stretch of the Walk of Fame yet, but we wanted to choose a place which is convenient for the public, for visitors, and a place which would add to the beautification of the city as well as add tourism to the city, which is the hub of Bollywood." Permission has been received from the Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Bandra Residents' Association (BRA) for the project, according to Gandhi. UTV Stars hopes to launch the project with a "megastar" but are tightlipped about the name of the celebrity.  For starters, only actors -- mostly "deserving, glamorous and big stars who have contributed a lot to Indian cinema" -- will find their hand imprints on the Bollywood Walk of Fame. However, space will also be created for deceased legends who continue to live in the hearts of fans.  Gandhi is confident the Walk will add value to the "city of dreams".

Actor Shahid Kapoor is all praise for his "Mausam" co-star Sonam Kapoor and called her "special".  "I think Sonam is a wonderful looking girl and she looks very simple and innocent. This is the reason why dad (actor-director Pankaj Kapur) was keen to cast her in 'Mausam'. In her upcoming film ('Players'), she is looking wonderful.  I think she is always a special actress because I did 'Mausam' with her which was special to me," Shahid told reporters. She escapes with few scratches and an ankle injury while promoting 'Desi Boyz'  At a shopping mall in Pune, while she was promoting her film with co-stars John Abraham and Akshay Kumar, the crowds went berserk around her. The actress also suffered scratches in the process.  Says an eyewitness, "The mall had three floors packed with people because the stars were to perform.  However despite many security guards, things went awry and the crowd was trying to reach out to the actors. The crowd was way beyond the capacity of the mall and it was very difficult to control over 4, 000 people at one go."  Realising it was not safe any more to continue, the organisers called off the show half way. And when the stars proceeded to exit the venue, things went completely out of control.  Chitrangada who also hurt her ankle says, "I have never seen so many people together in my life. Plus they were so aggressive that they started pushing the railings and even got into a scuffle with the security guards.  I realised then how serious the situation was. There was a point when I fell and almost got groped, but thankfully Akshay was right behind me and he bailed me out." More trouble Apparently later in the evening when the actors reached a Pune nightspot, John Abraham spotted a girl being eve-teased and immediately stepped up to help her. Vidya Balan is now 'Bombaat Balan' !

Actress Vidya Balan has been rechristened "Bombaat Balan" by her fans after her sensuous avatar as Silk in her forthcoming movie "The Dirty Picture". "Bombaat Balan, people have started calling me Bombat Balan! I found it quite funny the first time, but now I am used to it. Great!," said the actress in an interview.  After having been seen in graceful and classy roles like "Parineeta" and "Paa", Vidya suprised everyone when she decided to play a sex symbol in Milan Luthria's "The Dirty Picutre", but it was not a cakewalk for her.  "I would have to say that Silk (her character name in the film) has been an extremely demanding, exhausting, tiring and yet very fulfilling and exhilarating role for me to have played."  "It's like a workout. Sometimes you kill yourself during the workout and you feel dead after that. But it's also extremely exhilarating and there is a sense of adrenalin rush after the workout and that is how I feel after this film," Vidya, 32, said.  It may have been an exhausting role but at the same time, Vidya thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing an actress of the 1980s and 1990s. "Films in those times were full of masala and entertainment. Songs and dance used to start at any point in the film amidst pots, colours and oranges. I have done all that in this film, so all my wishes are fulfilled," she said.  Vidya started her career with "Parineeta", an adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's book. After that she did glamorous roles in "Heyy Babyy" and "Kismet Konnection", but her fans liked her more in films like "No One Killed Jessica".  This is not for the first time that Vidya is doing something unconventional. Even in "Ishqiya", she played a woman who oozes snesuality and mouthed expletives to make her role convincing.  She seems to be experimenting further in that direction with "The Dirty Picture", which is releasing Dec 2. In the film, she will be seen romancing Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor.  After "The Dirty Picture", Vidya has Sujoy Ghosh's "Kahaani" opposite Emraan.

Raped woman given choice to spend 12 yrs in jail or marry her attacker

Lack of adequate laws to protect the integrity of women in Afghanistan is once again been questioned after it emerged that a woman, who was raped by her cousin's husband and was jailed on charges of adultery, has been given an option to marry the man who attacked her honour and start a new life with him

Gulnaz was just 19-year old when she was convicted by a court for adultery and was sentenced to serve 12-years in prison, even though she tried to prevent the attack.

Now she is in Kabul's Badam Bagh Jail, serving out her sentence with her rapist's child.

Even two years later, Gulnaz remembers the smell and state of her rapist's clothes when he came into the house when her mother left for a brief visit to the hospital.

"He had filthy clothes on as he does metal and construction work. He closed doors and windows. I started screaming, but he shut me up by putting his hands on my mouth," she told CNN in an exclusive interview.

After the attack, she hid what happened as long as she could. But soon she began showing signs of morning sickness. After the incident was disclosed, Gulnaz was prosecuted, instead of being sympathized.

She was given the option that most women would consider nothing less than repulsive, starting a new life with the man who attacked her, the Daily Mail reports.

Surprisingly it something Gulnaz is willing to do, as she believes this second chance would help restore her honour and legitimize her infant daughter in the eyes of Afghanistan's conservative society.

"I was asked if I wanted to start a new life by getting released, by marrying this man," she said.

"My daughter is a little innocent child. Who knew I would have a child in this way. A lot of people told me that after your daughter's born give it to someone else, but my aunt told me to keep her as proof of my innocence," she added.

Gulnaz's choice is stark. Women in her situation are mostly killed for the shame their ordeal brings to the community.

Amanda Seyfried hits the hike trail
